To mark the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day I have produced an engraved ebony bobbin. The text includes part of a quote from King George VI. The bobbin includes a spangle in red, white and blue beads.

The text says:

15th August 80th Anniversary
1945 VJ Day 2025
“I ask you again at this solemn hour to
remember all who have laid down their lives, and
all who have endured the loss of those they love....
