I have been asked many times over the years. "Do you make Grandmother bobbins?" For the those who do not know this is a tiny bobbin (baby) inside, a small bobbin (mother), inside another standard sized bobbin (the grandmother)! My answer has always been 'No, sorry, too tricky ' These notoriously difficult, and time consuming, bobbins have always eluded me. Now using a combination of CNC machinery and hand turning, I have pulled it off

The main grandmother bobbin is made of ebony, the mother is made of lemonwood and the babe is made of bone. there are 3 machined slots to see the mother & baby bobbins.

Priced per (1) bobbin, NOT FOR THE 4 shown in the images. Spangles are a optional extra. Available in East Midland style only
