A Beautiful Ebony bobbin with a silver centre carved with Art Deco Heron design.
A 38 x 6mm solid silver section between a ebony base and head to produce a truly beautiful bobbin. The silver section was first carved by hand in wax under a microscope and then cast by the very talented jeweller Tim Blades. The core of the silver section is hollow showing the carving in 3d.
Aprox 6g of solid silver (not hallmarked)
Bobbin styles available, Midland or Honiton
Important the shape of the midland bobbin is a straight sided bobbin, not waisted as in the photo of bobbin styles
